Our Approach

At F.e.e.l. – Personal Development Center, we work with individuals and groups, incorporating a systemic approach into our work. We believe that, at a time when human relationships are becoming increasingly complex, the systemic approach enriches our understanding of ourselves and enables us to view difficulties and challenges not only from the individual’s perspective, but also within the context of their relationships and interactions with others.
By taking into account the wider relational context, we can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges we face and explore new ways of relating to ourselves and those around us.

Key Principles of the Systemic Approach

Transforming Relationships and Interactions

Change is not limited to the individual; it also extends to their relationships with others. For this reason, we seek to strengthen and improve relationships within the system (e.g. between parents and children), with the aim of enhancing the overall relational dynamics and fostering healthier patterns of interaction.

Family and Social Context

The systemic approach is based on the understanding that individuals are part of larger systems, such as the family, the workplace, or society. When difficulties arise, they are not necessarily related to the individual alone, but may often be shaped by the interactions and dynamics within the system.
Therefore, therapy and counseling focus on understanding these relationships and the ways in which members of the system interact with one another.

Recognizing the Strengths and Resources Within the System

We focus on strengthening the positive elements that already exist within the system. We believe that every individual and every family has inner resources and strengths that, when recognized and activated, can contribute to overcoming difficulties, resolving challenges, and fostering personal growth.

Reshaping Beliefs and Perspectives

We aim to reshape the way we perceive situations and challenge beliefs that may limit growth and change. This allows us to approach difficulties from new perspectives and explore new ways of addressing them.

Change is not limited to the individual; it also extends to their relationships with others.

For this reason, we seek to strengthen and improve relationships within the system (e.g. between parents and children), with the aim of enhancing the overall dynamics and fostering healthier patterns of interaction.

Exploring Different Perspectives

Grounded in the principles of the systemic approach and drawing on tools and techniques from a range of other therapeutic methods, including cognitive therapy, somatic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and others, we are able to offer comprehensive, flexible, and effective support tailored to each individual’s needs.

The process of psychotherapy or counseling may involve exploring relationships, reassessing relational dynamics within family or professional settings, and strengthening emotional intelligence, communication, and collaboration.

By understanding the context in which each individual functions, while respecting their unique needs and individuality, we can offer support that enables them to develop greater self-awareness, navigate the challenges they face more effectively, and, over time, achieve meaningful and lasting change on both an intrapersonal and interpersonal level.
