Evgenia Tragaki

Evgenia Tragaki is a psychologist , a graduate of the School of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and holds a Master’s degree (MEd) in Educational Psychology from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in School Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

She trained for several years in the systemic psychotherapy approach at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA). For many years, she worked in the field of community mental health at the Family Counseling Center of the Municipality of Zografou. She was subsequently appointed to the Child Psychiatric Hospital of Attica, under the Ministry of Health, where she worked at “To Litharaki,” a Day Center for Children on the Autism Spectrum. Since 2006, she has worked as a psychologist at the Interdisciplinary Assessment, Counseling and Support Centers (KEDASY) of the Ministry of Education, providing assessment and counseling support to school-aged children.

She has presented at numerous Greek and international scientific conferences, published articles in journals within her field, and contributed to two edited volumes.

She was one of the founding members of the Institute for Studies and Research in General and Special Education (IMEGEE), where she also served as Secretary on its first Board of Directors. Since 2019, she has also been a member of its Scientific Council, contributing to and coordinating a range of academic and professional development initiatives.
